World's Scariest Bridges

All bridges serve a purpose, whether utilitarian or inspirational. And some of them add a significant element of fear. But you do not have to be in a remote part of the world is scary bridges are everywhere, in all shapes, sizes and heights. And crossing over them, the ultimate adventure travel.

Many brave (or foolhardy) travelers are looking for hair-raising bridges for the thrill. The bridges along the route to Colombia National Archaeological Park Tierradentro are a good example. Although it was a safe distance by bus from La Plata, select some adventure on motorcycles riding on slippery bamboo crosses deep into the mountains, where one wrong move means dipping into a turbulent river.

So get ready to put your fears or maybe you find your next adventure with our list of the world's most petrifying bridges.

Aiguille du Midi Bridge
France

Do not look down. At this height you will want to keep your eyes on the panorama of the rugged French Alps blocked. Fortunately, the bridge itself is short, which escape for a simple, if vertigo sets in. But the really afraid of heights probably not even the bridge, the journey must be the cable car that climbs 9200 meters in 20 minutes.

Where: The summit of the Aiguille du Midi in the Mont Blanc massif near Chamonix.

Statistics: 12.605 meters above sea level.

Royal Gorge Bridge
Colorado
America's highest suspension bridge can be breathtaking for some, but can of vertigo left gasping for air because it straight down nearly 90 stories on the Arkansas River below rigid. Completed in 1929, has the bridge does not wind cable stabilize until 1982.

Where: Royal Gorge, Colorado, on the Arkansas River.

Statistics: 969 feet above the canyon, 1,260 feet long.

Trift Suspension Bridge
Switzerland

One of the longest and highest pedestrian suspension bridges in the Alps, was pasture in 2004, built to hikers into a hut again made inaccessible by a retreating glacier. A replacement in 2009, this bridge was higher handrails and stabilizing cables to prevent it from swinging violently in the wind. But there's still an adrenaline rush.

Where: Drift Glacier, near the town Gadmen in the Swiss Alps.

Statistics: 328 feet high, 558 feet long.

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
Northern Ireland

First things first: No one has fallen this bridge. However, many visitors who simply can not cope on foot to return and have to travel by boat. Previously it was oppressive acts. Built by fishermen, the island was to catch salmon, the original bridge had only one handrail. The suspension bridge was finally popular with tourists, who replaced a thrill, and the National Trust it with a more robust structure with two handrails.

Where: Near Ballintoy, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.

Statistics: 65 meters long, nearly 100 feet above the rocks below.

Puente de Ojuela
Mexico

This bridge leads to a ghost town, but it's the squeaky wooden floor, that makes it scary. Fortunately, steel cables suspended from two towers, a greater sense of shelter. Nevertheless, steel is a relatively new addition: when German engineer Santiago Minhguin built this bridge in the 19th Century, the towers were made of wood.

Where: The ghost town Ojuela, an old mining settlement in the northern state of Durango, Mexico.

Statistics: 1,043 yards long, 2 meters wide, 360 feet above a ravine.

Chesapeake Bay Bridge

Maryland
Drivers are notoriously afraid of this bridge, as it is exposed to frequent and often violent storms. And if the bad weather hits, to forget the visibility: the middle of this five-mile-long bridge and you can get land barely see.

Where: to link spanning the Chesapeake Bay Maryland Eastern and Western coasts.

Statistics: Nearly 5 miles long, 186 feet high at its highest point.

Hussaini Hanging Bridge
Pakistan
Massive gaps between the boards, a wild swing side by side: There is reason to be one of the world's most shocking suspension bridges is considered. While usual wobbly cable and wood bridges in this area, cross the bridge over the fast flowing river Hunza is especially disturbing since the tattered remnants of the former bridge next to the hanging of threads currently in use.

Where: In the village of Hussaini in northern Pakistan crossing the Hunza River.

Statistics:Floodwaters submerged allegedly the bridge, 2010. Because of its paint a popular adventure travel activity, the bridge is expected to be built up again.

Interesting Engineering Project Suggestions

This is such a broad, open-ended question that not knowing anything about your situation, what you have at your disposal, it's so hard to answer. And there are so many types of engineering: mechanical, electrical, software, chemical, civil, and so on to choose from.

The elements of an engineering project are the same regardless of type of engineering. Your goal is to build something. You first state with that thing needs to do: the requirements. Then you write down how the thing you build will meet those requirements: the specification. Then you design it. At this point, upi haven't built anything yet, but the hard work is behind you. Then you build and test.

When I was in fifth grade, we were "into" things that moved, usually vehicles of some type. Skateboards were just coming into being and so designing a board that could be steered was popular. Because my family lived on a big hill, we built "cars" like soapbox derby cars. Two axles, a pivot for the front with a rope-based steering mechanism, a frame and seat, a hinged board to press against the rear wheels to act as a brake. This can be fun but can be dangerous, so if you go this route, take all the necessary precautions. The requirements would be a list of things it has to do: roll on its own with low friction, carry one person in a seated, forward-facing position, be able to be turned around a curve of a certain radius, be able to be stopped in a timely manner, protect the driver from roll-overs, etc.

Whatever you choose, don't skimp on the process of planning through requirements, specification, and design. Most of the engineering happens before you pick up the hammer or beaker or soldering iron.

ARBOFORM: 100% Organic Bio-Plastic Material

It looks like wood, you feel it is wood when you touch it but it behaves like plastic .It is a combination of the plastic and wood where plastic and wood are most used materials in the world. :ARBOFORM

We use a tone of oil to create plastic for ‘everything from watches to bicycle helmets. It hasn’t Been easy to find a replacement material That can Be just as tough, versatile and easy to produce, German inventors aim to Have Developed a new material That Has a lot of promise. It “could replace ‘everything plastic using something as natural as wood.It looks like wood and feels like wood. The material IS Called ARBOFORM am and is Produced after Combining lignin, a discarded element of regular wood with natural resins, and flax fiber. Since it IS ideal ARBOFORM can be “any object form molded Into which is Normally made using petroleum products.Once They Are out of use, the products break down ARBOFORM Quickly Into organically and eco-safe by-products like water and carbon dioxide. ARBOFORM can Be Used in just about “any product.

New iPhone in 2011

So far we received only the rumors about iPhone 5 Coming Out in 2011. So I would enjoy it true about 10% but still, symbol smiles new iPhone in 2011

Verizon Wireless is currently testing a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 and 5 and Verizon confirmed they make changes to the network to bring the iPhone to its network. The new iPhone is five now (no longer limited to WiFi only) with great new features like video chat on 3G and 4G, face detection and download extreme load. (List of possible functions below). Just when you think it is nothing else to come, is more and more and more technology from. And it is on the rise, not only at Apple, Inc!

The iPhone has 5 dual-core processors and higher-performance graphics chips, the higher screen resolutions and better "nor" can provide images while shooting, and it is multitasking a breeze.

There are a few networks, to build a 4G network. T-Mobile would be likely to support, since they already GSM. Sprint has a 4G network already ... AT & T and Verizon Wireless in the beginning. There are getting calls from Verizon Wireless iPhone sometime in 2010 but it looks like they will certainly receive in 2011, when the new iPhone comes out 5th

Whether it will be 4G up to them! ... Can they build in time? You will definitely have the 3G version of the iPhone, but with the new iPhone 5 (4g speeds) coming out, they will compete! Regardless, there is much anticipation of how many people will be AT & T for Verizon Wireless because AT & T to leave lagging at about restrictions such as SlingPlayer and Google and Skype Voice (on 4G network, not Wi-Fi).

AT & T's restrictions on the proportion of people jailbreaking their iPhones that have been increasing since Jail Breaking a rule is created with Cydia this is the App Store for mobile phones have broken prison. Most applications, ringtones, and even the iPhone theme! ... Free with Cydia. Winterboard is part of the download, and it's very easy to add the changes to your phone so you do not have to figure how to do it on your own ... It is VERY automated.

The Pre Palm on Sprint and HTC EVO (Sprint is now offering a 4G network) has attempted to compete with iPhone and Blackberry ... and it seems they make the head cool, even though released with the iPhone 4 and 5 on the iPhone the way they are sure to lose. Oh ya, the Blackberry Torch? = Nice try ... But the browser does not full HTML

iPhone 5 looks very promising with respect to its slim, packed with new hardware and ultimately fewer restrictions.

A few features of the iPhone 5:

Thinner! With shiny glass back - 9.3 mm thick.

Face Recognition Security

Face Time (video chat) access to 3G and 4G (available time, but only on 3G)

Custom SMS Tones

assign individual e-mail alerts with the ability to different tones to each e-mail address

A new, slimmer body design.

OLED screen.

Scratch resistant and shatter-proof screen

Wireless Sync with iTunes

32G (basic) and 64G of memory. You are sure to never.

Longer battery life = 14 hours of talk time on 3G and 4G 7 hours. Standby 600 hours.

Hi Definition Audio.

Messaging indicator.

True built-in GPS

LIFE IS A LIE...

Yes,life is really a lie. Human beings are born, live and die. We,human beings, have a limited lifespan. The most important thing is that this limited time should be happy, peaceful and healthy.People should develop themselves during their lifetime, be ambitious (but not exaggerated ambition) and have plans for the future.Life is good but not that much good. Here is a dangerous place. We face some difficulties and dangers so we should be cautious about our behaviours against the society where we live and the people who are around us. The mistake you made can cause catasrophes for you. Each person is not same. Everybody has different features, characteristics. Some people are selfish, some are dishonest, some are good, some are two faced people, this goes on like that...

If you are a succesful person, some selfish and dishonest people do their best to destroy you. These people are fake like this world. They blacken the name of you. It is the only target of them in the world. They are jealous and do nothing to develop themselves. You, the successful one, must go up the stairs successfully without thinking those people.

You must always the perfect one. When you look behind, you must not have anything which you regretted. You must have a peaceful, happy and healthy life... As I said to you before, in this world, you should spend your lifetime beneficially and be careful about dangerous and fake creatures. DO NOT FORGET, dude ok.. these are advises from me, a foreign dude who do not know, see you..

Abengoa is a Spanish engineering company developed a 54-story high tower near Seville in Spain. Said to the world's largest solar power tower plant is consist of more than 1200 mirroredheliostats adjacent a huge tower. As "PS20", by the installation or heliostats for 1291 m2 each, giving the entire heliostat field is a massive area of 155,000 m2. Each heliostat tracks the sun all day on two axes, concentrating the radiation onto a receiver on the top of the 531 m tower. Then the receiver converts 92% of incoming sunlight into steam, which is up to a turbine driven generator located at the foot of the tower passed. The PS20 plant is capable of supplying 20 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough to 10,000 households.
