List Of Tallest Buildings in Europe

This list of tallest buildings in Europe is one of skyscrapers in Europe due to body size. While skyscrapers sparser in Europe than in Asia or North and South America, a considerable number of cities remain characterized by the number of high-rise buildings to host it. At first only a few major financial centers such as Istanbul, Frankfurt, London, Moscow, Paris and Warsaw, contained skyscraper (building and remains active there). In recent years, high-rise construction to many other cities, including Barcelona, Madrid, Benidorm, Rotterdam, Ekaterinburg, Kiev, Minsk and Brussels has spread.

Since 2009, the highest skyscraper in Europe is Moscow's 306-meter City Tower in Moscow was the capital. There are several other taller buildings under construction in the same city. The Mercury City Tower (380m) is to be the tallest building in Europe until 2011, during the Shard London Bridge in London, the tallest building in the EU will be completed in 2012 .

This lists ranks skyscrapers in Europe, at least 140 meters (ft 459) are high, based on standard height measurement. These include pinnacles and architectural details but does not include antenna masts. Existing structures are included for the ranking based on present height. This list includes the construction of buildings already surpassed.
